Reinventing the beach-house was the brief for our custom home on the City Beach coast.

 

Set on a very compact 220m2 site, with 280m2 of living space, the 3 bed, 2 bath home is a celebration of modern minimalist design.

 

With creative custom detailing and designer considerations, we crafted a coastal retreat with a distinctly urban aesthetic.

 

A shared love of concrete drew the client to Bacic and the custom work is evident throughout, from the polished concrete floors and striking curves of the kitchen island, to the floating courtyard bench-seat and concrete pergola.

 

Inside the home, sleek cabinetry, built-in furniture and cleverly concealed storage emphasise the home’s functionality. With concrete floors, bold use of black cabinetry, and crisp white walls, the house keeps a neutral colour palette throughout, interjected by lush greenery.

The furnishing and styling of the home was an exciting collaboration with Loam in Claremont. Loam curated the space with a beautiful blend of contemporary Australian and modern European designer brands.
