VEITCH STREET

This extreme renovation on one of Bayswater's most historic streets is a reflection of its owners - it's cool and quirky with a unique sense of style.

The project was many years in the planning and saw the construction of an undercroft garage with a new living wing and bedroom suite on top.

Designed by The Colour Royale and built by Bacic Group, the renovation features lightly honed, charcoal concrete floors, 2.7m high ceilings, German engineered cabinetry and was furnished by Ultimo Interiors.

The structure is built using bWall, our exclusive insulated concrete walling system.

The exterior features wood-look fibre cement panels which have been painted black. The panels form part of the bWall system - eliminating the need for render or expensive cladding.

The use of bWall, combined with clever design also eliminated the need for air conditioning.

“We actually struggled to find a builder… lots of Perth builders took one look at our sloping block and the retaining it would need and wouldn’t even give us a quote! We were close to giving up, then stumbled across Bacic Group and their website had the magic words we needed to hear: “We are experts at concrete construction and dream about blocks that other builders are too scared to touch.” Bacic Group have been wonderful to work with from the outset.” Pamela Medlen - Owner.
